I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I attended Medical School at the University of California, Irving, did my internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and my residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, with a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Hong Kong. I was a General Medical Officer for 3 years with the US Navy. I was in private practice for 11 years and with The Permanente Medical Group for 29 years. I retired in March 2018 and am now a consulting pediatric orthopedic surgeon for California Children’s Services in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo counties.
