This image was made during a Canon Destination Workshop at Yellowstone National Park on late September 2017. This is the Great Fountain Geyser at the Lower Geyser Basin south of the Madison Information Station. It was a very dramatic sunset and one that I will not forget.

This is the Great Fountain Geyser at the Lower Geyser Basin south of the Madison Information Station.

This image was made with a 50 Mega Pixels Canon 5DSR and a 16-35 mm F 2.8 L series lens at 16 mm. F 22, ISO 100 shot in RAW on a Manfrotto tripod. 

Five images were taken at -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 f stops. The images were merged in Adobe Lightroom and edited both with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
