Volume 4; Issue 2
In 2012, The Permanente Press led the Denver Writers’ Workshop. A staple of these workshops is the “quick write,” in which participants are given 10-15 minutes to write freely. The stories collected in this issue of leaflet come from the quick writes of this workshop. The stories describe personal and clinical moments, sharing the writing of health professionals at various stages in their careers, from looking back at their younger selves developing into the physicians they are today to looking forward to creating a rich experience of a retired physician.
